Recently, I have been amassing a great deal of experience in interpretation through my work for the Recovery School District (RSD) of New Orleans.  At RSD, I was the English to Spanish and Spanish to English interpreter for the Student Hearing Office, assisting school district officials and students' families to better communicate and understand the legal and procedural issues involved in student placement disputes. I am currently one of the on-call interpreters for individual school events as well as the Orleans Parish School Board meetings.

Through the Translation and Interpretation Certificate Program at Loyola University, I am deepening my knowledge, and expanding my command of the technical aspects of language in legal and medical settings.
